Mydax Celebrates 40 Years of Advanced Temperature Control Engineering

1986–2026

[Auburn, CA] February 13, 2026 — Mydax marks its 40th anniversary this February, celebrating four decades of engineering driven innovation in advanced temperature control systems for precision critical applications.

Founded in February 1986, Mydax entered the market with a patented refrigeration circuit utilizing embedded computer control technology that was ahead of its time and established a foundation for intelligent, high performance thermal management. That same engineering first approach continues to guide Mydax today.

Over the past 40 years, Mydax has expanded its capabilities to support a broad range of industries with demanding thermal requirements, including manufacturing, semiconductor processing, hydrogen refueling infrastructure, contract manufacturing, and defense and aerospace. As these industries have evolved, Mydax has continuously advanced its system architectures, control strategies, and component integration to meet higher expectations for temperature stability, repeatability, uptime, and lifecycle performance.

Mydax liquid chiller systems are designed for long term operation in environments where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. Many customers have operated Mydax systems for 30 years or more before replacement, often as a result of process changes rather than equipment failure. This longevity reflects a focus on robust design, conservative engineering margins, and serviceability throughout the system lifecycle.

In addition to custom engineered solutions, Mydax supports OEM and contract manufacturing partners with scalable designs and consistent performance across installations. Our engineering team works closely with customers to address application specific requirements, whether supporting tight thermal tolerances in semiconductor processes, high reliability operation for defense and aerospace systems, or the evolving demands of emerging technologies such as hydrogen refueling.

Mydax’s long standing customer relationships and high rate of return business are a direct result of system performance and technical

support that extends well beyond installation. Industries that require sustained precision and process stability continue to place their trust in Mydax, trust that has been earned through decades of proven operation in the field.

As Mydax looks ahead, the company remains committed to advancing temperature control technology with the same principles that have guided it for 40 years: sound engineering, reliable performance, and responsive technical support.
